Cauliflower stir fry with onions and tomatoes. This Maharashtrian Cauliflower Rassa Bhaji is an easy and quick curry for chapatis or rice.
Ingredients:
Cauliflower - 500 gms
Onion - 1 big
Tomatoes - 2 big
Green Chillies - 5
Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
Garlic - 4 big cloves
Cumin/Jeera - 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder/Cayenne Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder/Cayenne Pepper - 1/4 tsp
Goda Masala or any other spice mix - 1/4 tsp
Oil - 2 tbsp

1. Wash cauliflower florets in hot water, add little salt too. Finely chop onions, tomatoes, ginger and garlic.
2. Heat oil in a kadhai/wok and add cumin, lengthwise slit green chillies, chopped ginger and garlic. Saute for a minute and add onions. Fry onions till slightly brown. Add tomatoes and cook till tomatoes are mashed.
3. Add cayenne pepper, goda masala, salt and saute for about a minute. Add cauliflower florets, 1/2 cup water and cook it covered. Cook till florets turn soft and tender or till you get the desired consistency.
4. Serve Cauliflower sabji with chapati or phulka.
Simple but yet a delicious sauteed cauliflowers, just love it..
